Over the summer and into September the last two IT training workshops under a Devon Community Foundation Grant to Open DAW were delivered. The final evaluation report is currently being written. Plans are underway for two workshops under a separate grant for helping community groups create their own websites.
Two more electronic community screens went live in Teignmouth and Dawlish. Feedback has been great! More and more posters on events are coming in each month.
Open DAW (Dawlish Community Information Centre) enquiry work and ongoing work at Torbay Hospital Library have been keeping me occupied on a regular basis.
We have also been working on a new contract for creating the Dawlish World War One Project website which commemorates those who died or were casualties in the First World War and came from Dawlish, Holcombe and Cofton. Current work is on the database and finalising the graphical design.
On the voluntary basis I have become a Trustee for Dawlish Arts Festival and produced a newsletter for PORT-ER in the last week or so.
So roll on the autumn!
