Autumn

Hedgehog in the greenery

The leaves are falling, the nights are drawing in, but there’s still work to be done.

Earlier this month was a really proud moment when the WHO Standards for Prosthetics and Orthotics were published. About 4 years ago I was asked to do some searching for the initial proposal for these by Sandy Sexton of Rehab Skills and then as the years progressed was involved in the proof-reading of them. Whilst only a small input it’s great to see them published knowing they will inform policies and change lives.

Currently I have several exciting projects underway including searching for research and papers for a project in Vietnam. Another success has been in managing using ipads at a memory cafe once a month as a trial and now extended into the New Year.
